This morning, I am grateful to God for the people who have passed from our lives. They have enriched the lives of those all around them, and they have performed so many small acts of love that we mourn their passing very deeply. We mourn for ourselves, selfishly, because we are now bereft of their smiles, and their voices, and their companionship, and we will always love them. Their spirits are now free, and soar with the angels.

We would live in such poverty of spirit if we had never known them, and their presence was a great blessing, and that blessing came from God.

@4meAndyou I so agree with you! I think that @missbeez is just so genuine and extremely sweet but I only know her, from the threads. I would love to know her better and sure hope that I have a chance to, one day.

I gave thanks to God in prayer, and I am grateful, that my son and his wife have a safe place to go for Thanksgiving dinner after her surgery.

Today I am grateful for my neighbors, and I thank God for them. Without them, I would never know that I have packages waiting at the mailboxes downstairs.
