Went to Galveston with a group of friends over spring break once. The water may be brown, but the sound of it along the beach relaxed me. I miss those days.

The greys and blues churning in anguish. Swirling their colours of the water. Wind blowing.....this sucks too hard to write while bored at work..

There’s something about the waves crashing onto the shore...closing your eyes and breathing in the salty air...peace.

There is just something about waves crashingvon the shore that is attractive to most people. I don't know why. It's not just the sound, which, of course is sort of peaceful. That is one part of it, but there is something about the endless w...

But only from afar. I've never been a great lover of the beach, living in a city without one might be a factor in it. But the waves crashing onto the beach is a wonderful sight and a great photo opportunity!

Whenever I go on holiday with my Mum we go to a foreign land, or city. She's not a beaches type person unless it's a beach she might never visit again. Holidays with my Dad are always a mix of historical exploration and the beach. He is a ...

It is so relaxing to watch the waves crash onto the shores. I get lost in thought all the time. The sound that the waves make is very calming to me. I could definitely spend hours near the ocean.

My favorite place to be in this world is the beach. I live in Maryland and was raised on the water. Not near the water, on the water. My dad ran a few crab boats and it's my earliest memory. I grew up on them. I have tried to move away but someh...

Ocean waves are not moving humps of water, but invisible pulses of power through water. Every wave, regardless of how high and forceful it crests, must eventually collapse within itself. Just as the wave cannot exist for itself, but is ever a part o...

Bare feet in the sea. The tied hits and pulls back, taking all the sand from under your feet. Life is wonderful

The Atlantic Ocean is about 500 meters from my house. In the winter I can hear from my window the raging waves crashing against the shore as if the sea was only a few meters away. It is the most powerful and relaxing sound I've ever heard.
