Understanding God and his ways

If you ask God, he will show you the answer. I wrote a passage a few weeks ago about interpreting God in a physical sense. It was quite popular so I have decided to create this piece based of the same idea.

It is easy to pray to God, it's even easy to see what he gave to the world. Understanding him is sometimes the hardest part, because we all know he works in wonderful yet mysterious ways. While I was blooming in my youth, blissfully unaware of how God works and confused about the things happening around me, I asked God why he sent romantic love to all my friends, why I had to remain single for so long. God responded gracefully "Because child, they NEED those partners, you will one day have a love that you actively choose not because you need it, but because you want it". Sure enough, my turn came, but until then, I embraced independence and found myself.

Time went on, I grew older and wiser, but still naive to the wonders of the world. In a moment of despair and brokenness, I asked God why I had to loose my job, and why these parts of my I've were crashing down one after the other. He responded gracefully and said "My Child, if the events of your life don't break you down, then you will never ask me to build you back up, and the plan I have for you is to build you up so high, that you know to never break again"

I started seeing Gods doing all around me, seeing lifes positivity and the beauty in my day to day life. But still, at times of pain, I would question God and his work. I asked God why he brought toxic people into my life if it was only going to bring me pain. Why did he want to hurt me, his child? I prayed and lived in his word, why was I suffering? God shook his head gracefully and responded "My child, don't you see? Without showing you pain you will never know what happiness is when you receive it. Without showing you hate you will never understand love. Without being mistreated you will ever value being respected. Without suffering I can not teach you things, I can not provide you with strength."

Do not question God. He is always guiding you through life and he makes NO MISTAKES and just know that everything happens for a reason :)

So the man i gave my heart, life and dedication to, and decided it was right to bash my head and body against stuff ....that was all gods plan?

@OogieBoogie Well I mean god happily drowned the planet for pissing him off, so you getting your head kicked in would be right on schedule, and you're a woman and you know how these Abrahamic religions feel about chicks.
writingforlife6 · 22-25, F
@OogieBoogie The man who did that to you was not following God, but instead the evil work of the devil. All pain and suffering is acts of the devil, when we go against Gods word and commandments we are exposed to this. This wasn't Gods plan, but God does have a plan for you. It was Gods work that he kept you alive and gave you the strength to get through that time. The fact you wake up everyday and have the chance to breath.

@Allelse If each and every human followed Gods commandment, there would simply be no suffering. But instead we go against his word and we pay the consequences of disobeying him

@writingforlife6 So then it's extortion? Do what what God tells you or he'll hurt you?
writingforlife6 · 22-25, F
@Allelse It's not him that is hurting you. It is the devil. God is protecting you and gives you these commandments to PROTECT you. When we avoid his protection we are hurt by evil, which Is not Gods work. God forgives each and every one of us, he loves you and has never and will never leave you
@writingforlife6 what a load of crap.

I sacrificed, I am honest , I worked so bloody hard...and I got rewarded with wot!?
My children terrified, more hurt than I could nearly bear .

I got myself out

There were no miracles for me .

And for all my efforts ...still....that God you speak of ..he's turned a blind eye .

Besides...he made the devil .
Like that was a good idea 🙄
Allelse · 36-40, M
@writingforlife6 God made the devil, so wouldn't that mean the devil works for god and that since god created it all, that the devil is apart of the system he created? Which means if we do wrong, the devil gets us as was created by god?
writingforlife6 · 22-25, F
@OogieBoogie It is no surprise to me that you suffered so carelessly. You point your finger at God for your troubles, a God you supposedly don't believe in. Perhaps you should pray? Seek God in your life and you wouldn't have had such a hard time. God NEVER promises miracles, you are jut expecting God to give you whatever you want and that's not the point t all.

@writingforlife6 don't put words into my mouth.

I blame an arsehole for being an arsehole

You're the one claiming that God is the cause of what happens to us in his grand plan.

Then you suddenly blame the devil when something bad pops up.

Since when does an omnipotent being need a scapegoat?
@writingforlife6 so...let me get this straight ..

Me ..being a good, honest , forgiving person makes me unworthy?

And wanting not to be beaten up for it is too much to ask ?

For a Christian soul....you're pretty damn cruel with your words.

Good luck with your 'god'

May wanna read the book of Thomas....your God isn't who you think he is .
