Understanding God and his ways
If you ask God, he will show you the answer. I wrote a passage a few weeks ago about interpreting God in a physical sense. It was quite popular so I have decided to create this piece based of the same idea.
It is easy to pray to God, it's even easy to see what he gave to the world. Understanding him is sometimes the hardest part, because we all know he works in wonderful yet mysterious ways. While I was blooming in my youth, blissfully unaware of how God works and confused about the things happening around me, I asked God why he sent romantic love to all my friends, why I had to remain single for so long. God responded gracefully "Because child, they NEED those partners, you will one day have a love that you actively choose not because you need it, but because you want it". Sure enough, my turn came, but until then, I embraced independence and found myself.
Time went on, I grew older and wiser, but still naive to the wonders of the world. In a moment of despair and brokenness, I asked God why I had to loose my job, and why these parts of my I've were crashing down one after the other. He responded gracefully and said "My Child, if the events of your life don't break you down, then you will never ask me to build you back up, and the plan I have for you is to build you up so high, that you know to never break again"
I started seeing Gods doing all around me, seeing lifes positivity and the beauty in my day to day life. But still, at times of pain, I would question God and his work. I asked God why he brought toxic people into my life if it was only going to bring me pain. Why did he want to hurt me, his child? I prayed and lived in his word, why was I suffering? God shook his head gracefully and responded "My child, don't you see? Without showing you pain you will never know what happiness is when you receive it. Without showing you hate you will never understand love. Without being mistreated you will ever value being respected. Without suffering I can not teach you things, I can not provide you with strength."
Do not question God. He is always guiding you through life and he makes NO MISTAKES and just know that everything happens for a reason :)
