@Elessar Reading thre articla attached to that study it does seem the mainstream journals question irs conclusions and refuse to publish. Now that can be for a number of reasons . But I wont speculate. The bottom line is they want more evidence.

@whowasthatmaskedman Here the link doesn't even open up. But I think I recall which study it was - it resulted inconclusive, not disproving masks usefulness. And in any case it remains one study against another hundred that say they sensibly reduce the potentiality of transmission.

@xRedx Leaders have their part of fault on the base of the containment measures they enact. Or the entire world would be in the same identical epidemiological situation, had it depended solely on the population.

@Elessar they do, but people are responsible for themselves. If you take care and follow guidelines or don't, that's within individual people. Not government.

@xRedx Good, then why are you trying to shift the entire responsibility to people, when it was him to minimize the situation in the first place (affecting the public opinion and compliance to containment rules of at least one portion of the electorate, i.e. his supporters), going against medical/scientific advice; suggesting to limit testing (no cases if we don't test, give the presidency to an ostrich at that point), pushing drugs and treatments that have no reason nor proof to even work against this specific pathogen, organising packed rallies, encouraging rebellions (Michigan, beginning of the year, remember?), and so forth, I could continue for a year, he f*cked up consistently since day-0. That all surely impacted the curve, and that all was not people's responsibility, only his and his supporters' at most.

@BlueVeins well I've heard the government had increaad the range of minimum factor so that the people who'd be diagnosed as mildly positive would be shown covid negative. Thereby reducing the numbers
