My dad can't take a hint...

My uncle says my dad was telling him how he's upset with me for not wanting to talk to him when he's been making "every effort" to make things right. I guess he said he even remembered my birthday, August 18... It's August 16, lmao! Oh, HE is upset with ME now?! He's so full of crap! Especially with that "every effort" stuff. If that was true, he would be paying my mom the years and years worth of child support he owes her. I'll bet if I told him that's how he could make it right, that would be asking too much. What a joke! He thinks he can just abandon my mom when she was pregnant with me, be gone my whole life and then magically reappear and strike up a relationship with me, no hard feelings. He's just a poor old man trying to reconnect with his long-lost daughter. Give me a break! If he really wants to talk to me, he can move back to my state and meet me face to face. But if he did that, he would probably get arrested for non-payment on all the child support he owes so I already know that would be too much from him too. I don't want to see him anyway. I don't want anything to do with him! He'll just have to learn that leaving me alone to live my life - the one he abandoned - is the nicest thing he could do for me.

@ViciDraco I wouldn't be surprised if he needed me to give him money. If he has the audacity to ditch me upon learning I was coming and to be mad at me for not wanting to talk to him for it...

@PerchingDove I believe you are fully in the right. I'd even float to your uncle if you talk to him that maybe you might think about it after he makes a gesture of sending your mother a year worth of back child support.
