It's equipped with lasers, a motherboard, sensors, and Wi-Fi to navigate around my home without the need for assistance. It's autonomous and intelligent. It's programmable and it draws a map of my living room. It even speaks to me. The control program is on my iPhone.
It came with charging docks and can even charge itself. I just picked a robot-accessible spot for the dock, and the bot will return on its own before it runs out of energy. When it does, it will sit there until it has enough energy to go back out and continue to bust dust from where it left off.
Now I'm putting up my feet and I'll sit as I watch it do all the work. No more scrubbing the floor on my knees. Hah! Women's liberation is a beautiful thing.
What's funny is the one I got my mom is the $100 one on Amazon well it's normally $159 but they normally have a coupon that knocks it down to $99 and it still does an awesome job.
@helenS they've come down a lot but yours has a lot more features than my mom's probably I kind of got her the cheap one that was only about $100 just to see if it even worked cuz I was really doubtful and I didn't want to waste $350 and then be pissed off because I spent so much money on something that didn't work very well
@dale74 Mine can be controlled by using a smart phone – not that it would be really useful 😁 The good thing is, it really really works - it cleans my floors. I call her Elvira, by the way.
@luvin2flirt I think all you'd have to do would be installing a very simple barrier, like a wooden board or something, and you are ready to go almost effortlessly. You can sit in the garden, drink a glass of wine, and your electronic slave will be doing all the work for you as you sit and watch. 🌷
@helenS my kids are into hybrid, yuppie dogs. One bernadoodle, one goldendoodle, one Australian labraddoodle. They each spent a lot of money for them. I want to come back as my kid.
