My child

I was just a child
Living wild
But then you came
I stopped playing games
And gave you a name
The driving force
Behind my fame
My child

It was easy for me to not go to school
But it was hard looking into your eyes
Seeing that wasn't cool
All the silly things I did before
I could no longer be that fool
It was no longer just me I was thinking for
My child

All my so-called friends
They stopped coming around
I could believe in your stumbling steps
More than I could believe in this world
With you true love I found
