Healing Hugs For All Those That Need It

My son is in long rehab. He's battled addiction for years and nearly died this last time around. I'm grateful he is off the streets right now, but I know the reality of relapse. I am always afraid. It's been my reality for a long time as a mother.

I know you carry a hole in your heart with the loss of your brother Peaches. I completely understand.

I battled alcoholism for years, I was in and out of rehab due to relapse. I was finally diagnosed bipolar. I was drinking to kill the pain. But, I went through a whole treatment program and I haven't had a drink in almost 14 years. So, I know what it's like. It's very hard and painful to beat an addiction.

Life is not easy for many and I mean spiritually. Life is painful and cruel and many of us are extra sensitive.


Love is powerful and healing. I want everyone to receive the love that they rightfully deserve and they do deserve it. You deserve it. I deserve it.

Very true. Seeing the gradual deterioration & the frustration of individuals meaningless claims to seek help. Then knowingly continue down a slippery slope is frightening.
