I battled alcoholism for years, I was in and out of rehab due to relapse. I was finally diagnosed bipolar. I was drinking to kill the pain. But, I went through a whole treatment program and I haven't had a drink in almost 14 years. So, I know what it's like. It's very hard and painful to beat an addiction.

My son is bipolar and I know the hell. He is addicted to alcohol and drugs; anything to kill the pain. He's in treatment again and wants a clean life. I know there is hope as long as he's still here.

@SW-User Thank-you for your kind words. He really wants to beat this. I am hoping this long term program that is upstate will help him heal. Nothing would make me happier to see.
