This really rings a bell and do consider, as I did 12 years ago, if you've not already, researching Aspergers Syndrome.

@Lullacus Probably correct, statistically speaking it's eight times less likely to be the case for you than me. The Syndrome is sometimes termed, 'Pretending to be Normal'. I've got the faking down to a fine art, so much so that women at work sometimes mistake me for a highly upright, even religious, man. Then in private situations they get disappointed, and mystified.

Here's the real 'tell'. Look up 'famous people with AS', at least a list of 100, and consider how many you have gravitated to.

@UpForItNow Will give it a try

Oh.... relatable AF.. I wish I had a feel-good message to counter your sentiments, but I decided several years ago when it was sink or swim that adapting was worth the sacrifice because the alternative was a greater misery. On the bright side, there are a handful of people who can relate and I can talk to them/be myself.

When I was little I thought everyone loved me and I loved everyone because in my innocent mind I never contemplated that people wouldn’t ... and I didn’t ... I had live in abundance in my heart 💓

Then as I grew older I saw the dark side of humanity and experienced it first hand

After that I grew up realising that the world isn’t fair and it’s not a Disney movie 🍿

People can be cruel and cold - FACT

I just make sure I’m not in their circle ⭕️

I choose my company wisely
