I certainly ended up with a red face when this happened. I had to visit a farm as part of my work one day. I didn't bring any wellington boots and it was very, very, muddy. I knew I was in trouble when I was almost knee deep and I couldn't move my shoes at all. I had to slip my feet out of them and proceed in my socks!
