I Want to Thank Our Veterans

This morning I was in the supermarket when the message announcing the two-minute silence was heard over the speaker system. Immediately, staff and shoppers alike ceased what they were doing, stayed still and didn't say anything. One really little kid scampering between the aisles was badly freaked out by this impromptu game of statues by everyone, including his own mother. Thank heaven it was only two minutes because a lot of us were having difficulty not bursting out laughing.

The kid didn't think it was at all funny though
