I have a similar post about where I have to be to call out on my cell phone. We do not have a landline so I jump in our ATV and go up out of the holler to call.
I noticed the leaves are already covering the driveway.

@SageWanderer Living out in the middle of nowhere ain't for sissies neither! 😏 Cause the winters can be a hard time. We are in a holler, so the driveway has a good upward grade to it. Yup.. I love Mother Nature!
@Echoing I’m on top of the mountain myself. Yes, winter makes it difficult at times but I wouldn’t trade it. Right now we’re glamping, far enough away but with some comforts.
@JustNik 😎 I normally don't rush thru my calls. I have been known to sit there and call several friends or family. A good couple of hours feeling peaceful and all.
@SW-User Yup, I have Dish. Sometimes when the weather is good and my wifi is in full force...I can call out on my cell phone. But there is a short delay between exchanges of words.
