I always loved the ideas of those, though being over 6' didn't help, as often lower ceiling.

Also, need to make sure heat and AC get up there, or you might be freezing in the winter and burning in the summer, as that area, unless specifically designed, usually has horrible air flow and less temper control.

Plus, possible unwanted pets (bugs, spiders, etc).

But love the idea, the too one looks amazing

Those are lovely. We did ours in our old house as a den for our son. We couldnt officially use it as a bedroom because it didnt have a proper staircase.

I did something like that for my boys. I turned it into a play room for all there games and toys. Made a lot of space in there bedroom so the bunk beds went and they had there own space

You will need a big clock or a wardrobe with a door that leads to another dimension where magic is real! When you get there, try the mushrooms..
