I Often Feel Like Life Isn't Real

The big expected question -

What is the meaning of life?
Right now I feel like life is just all blurred and I cant seem to grasp the happiness and the reason for life. Right now I am working to pay bills and that's it. I don't have many friends or honestly no real close friends. I don't have a partner or child to look after.... I just think sometimes what is the purpose of life? For what reason are we put here? Is this just a dream or is this honestly happening right now? What is consciousness?
