I Have Schizoaffective Disorder

Now that I’m healthy mentally/spiritually again I sometimes wonder what people who seen the old me and the healthy me think of me? I was seriously sick possessed by an impure spirit fighting for my innocence now I am just a simple loving housewife and mother of 4 who takes pride in my children! I’ve come a long ways from being very very sick with schizoaffective disorder. After a six month stay at Rehab they finally put me on Clozapine and I have to say it works either that or I have been removed from my triggers. Or both. All I know is that I’m taking great delight in the fact that I finally got my sanity back! It only took 7 years!

great to hear that things got better for ya. for four year i dealt with the same. Its hard work finding all the right pieces to remain sane and knowing mental relapse can happen anytime. staying on top is key. By the way your post was best news i had heard all day. Knowing triggers and recognizing new ones.

Thank you my dear, my kids always knew that I was severely mentally ill and we all took care of each other I’m sad that they may have had to grow up too fast but they are doing great these days@JoJoe

Anytime, I've got a whole new world for me to tackle. my stress levels are constantly at a 10. first ongoing anxiety and depression. Then four years of schizoaffective disorder. But now PTSD

Are you on meds? Are you in therapy? I overcame my mania and anxiety and healed from PTSD caused from falling back into my last relapse back in 2012 which lasted up until last year! Still shy around people and paranoid that everyone is talking about me. What do you mean by you got a whole new world for you to tackle you see I have movies inspired by my life that I call my worlds so I was wondering if you meant the same thing?@badgay

thanks for the likes. I often write for my outlet. Sometimes i joke about it to cope. other times truly how i feel. Its not fun but make fun with it. So i empathize.

Time away from an abusive toxic relationship even though I loved them and wanted to stay I needed time to heal from that trigger plus The granddaddy of all antipsychotics Clozapine I just have more abundance of peace of mind@RippinKlouds
