I Love Handwritten Letters

As much as I am grateful for today's technology, I feel like everything in life has suddenly become fast paced. The days of writing beautifully hand written letters have sadly been forgotten and a part of me feels that the sentiment behind "putting pen to paper" has been lost.
With so many messaging apps and other ways of communication, I feel as though the passion behind ones thoughts and emotions are no longer there either.

Maybe it's just me.

There is something endearing and so very personal about a handwritten letter, it's sentimental and sincere. I've cherished handwritten letters for as long as I can remember, I keep them all neat in a box and will remain to do so, despite the times that are forever changing.

I completely agree. Nothing holds as much meaning as a hand written missive of some sort-even of the handwriting is so-so, the effort put forth prevails every time

Totally agree! I love fountain pens, paper, journals and actual books. Letters are precious, it’s too bad they aren’t written more.

I don't agree about letters, but I love keeping physical books and I don't stream music, i buy it. I have a weird kind of pride in actually OWNING things, and tbh if it were convenient i would have music put onto records.

All these months later, this remains one of my favorite posts here in our community. Rest assured that it's not just you. :)

@SW-User another person who likes actual books. Paper books ☺️
I appreciate technology, it's great to send a message fast in a moment of urgency but there's nothing that beats the anticipation of waiting for a letter that is heartfelt and you can keep.
