I Got Slippered At School

I got the slipper three or four times in high school for various offences, mainly being out of bounds at break times, and cheek in class. Only a few classroom teachers still used the slipper, but it was still in quite common use by the senior teachers in their offices. The usual form was you got a lecture and then had to bend over the desk. You would get between six and twelve hard whacks on the bottom. Most teachers administered the whacks quite swiftly. But the deputy head of our school was notorious for giving them very hard and slowly with a wait between strokes. This made it worse because there was just time for the sting to build from one stroke and you would get the next just as it was at its worst. I was never caned, but I'm told that had a similar effect.

Only a few teachers used the slipper at my schools, normally 3 or 4 hard whacks as we bent over. I must have got it about a dozen times in total during my time at school.

@Rebecca54 2 or 3 were quite common and, in general, 6 was a de facto maximum. I don't know if there were an official limit but I doubt it would have made any difference anyway.

Slipperings were an everyday occurrence when I was at school and canings were very common too. Every teacher used the slipper in class. Headteachers used the cane in their studies.

We could get slippered for just about any minor infraction and it didn't take much to get the cane either.

My old PE teacher used a plimsoll, though he tended to call it a slipper. I called it the pump myself. I got it lots of times for not participating in PE. But I never had more than 6 smacks at a time, always over the seat of my trousers. It was nothing compared with a dozen or more smacks on my bare bottom with my dad's leather slipper. So I used to say it didn't hurt when I got spanked in school. Lol:)

Same here, but not in the high school. Leaving the school yard during breaks or cheeking in class were serious reasons to get a CP. My classmates who were borders, however, got the cane even in high school, but in private from the supervisors.

I got my bottom smacked for talking in class in primary school made to come out in front ofvthe class and told to bend over to get my bottom smacked I was first one in my class to get my bum smacked was embarrasing Isubsequently got my backside whacked several times at Secondary school with the slipper and on two occasions with a hockey stick Tried to avoid punishment at all costs at school Now i voluntary bend over for a whacking with all types of implements particularly the cane and wooden paddle Strange how things work out Stuart

@RemovedUsername790291 I think we all got away with far more than we ever got whacked for. I got the slipper and the cane for forging excuse/sick notes.

Our gym mistress would always find some reason to slipper at least some of us.

@Sharon After inputting on this page today I decided i had been naughty and made an appointment with a local headmistress I am now sitting down with a very sore bottom after being caned and whacked with the wooden paddle Have red lines all over my bum far more than the six of the best i got at school Stuart

The slipper was used in class in my school. The misbehaving boy(s) or girl(s) would be called out to the front of the class and told to bend over. 2, 3 or more strokes of the slipper would then be applied to the upturned bottom.
