I Have Never Been Married

People are never satisfied. If you don't have kids at all, they're going to call you selfish, if you do have kids in your 40s, you're selfish again, while if you do at 18 you're an irresponsible slut. If you get married at 19 it's too early, if you get at 50 too late and if never, you're a sad lady with only cats for company.
So whatever, just because there are some social "standards" no one should think that their life is not as it should be, that they need to change.
I'm 18 and never had a boyfriend and whenever it happens to say that, I get weird looks lol as if I don't have my whole life ahead of me...
I've come to realize that if you have health and happiness, nothing else matters.

Curiosity is so strong in human beings. Often instead of finding out the truth, they just make up a good story (at least in their minds) to settle their minds.

Marriage is not a Hollywood movie and I think people need to realize that on a very small few can have a successful monogamy marriage. I think a lot more people are realizing there animal instant and molding marriage into there own definition

Nothing wrong with never getting married. I wish I never got married the first time. Good for you for not giving in to the pressures of society.

Nothing wrong with that. It's better to be on one's own than to be trapped in a undesirable relationship.

I'm ok with it too. I chose to not ever marry. Had a few decent relationships but marriage didn't ever feel right. I could not care less how others see it...I think many of them are envious of our freedom actually

Marriage can be very confining and controlling. I loved being single, and yes, I was married...for the wrong reasons. Enjoy your freedom and live each moment.
