I Hate Pretentious People
There was this one time back on EP when the question of the day was "How do you handle people making rumors and talking about you behind your back?" This dude posted an answer that said something along the lines of this:

I guess the point was supposed to be something like "I don't have to pay attention to people saying negative shit because I know I'm so much better" and you can say what you might about that. But the reason it made me so angry is because that's not even fücking true; swans don't feed exclusively on lotus nectar, they don't even drink nectar at all. Swans eat fish, frogs, worms, mussels, and all kinds of pond and river vegetation like algae and river grass and kelp. What a pretentious shǐthead you are, trying to use birds for a poorly constructed analogy of social interaction, when you don't even know that your own comparison makes no sense.
