I Have Social Phobia

I didn't go to the Wednesday lunch yoga class held by a colleague today, and maybe for a while in the future too. I do not have common topic to talk with them during lunch after we finish class together. And I have different political views from theirs. Rather than facing situations like this, I prefer to be alone.

Maybe just excuse yourself, say that your not comfortable talking about ploitics? I can see why not having common topic might be awkward though. Maybe you can find a way to steer the convo to a topic your familiar with?
