I feel extremely lonely every single day

Every day consists of waking up lonely and smoking to make the pain go away. Weed is all that works for me and "self-improvement" has failed to change my situation. Success is about the person inside and putting time into yourself just masks who you really are.

Apparently feeling this way is the health equivalent of smoking 20 tobacco cigarettes per day. No wonder people who can't socialize are dying so young.

I wish I could find a group of like 5 friends to just talk to and share everything with. Both genders included.

yeah imagine if i had left a rude ass response on a post where you're being very vulnerable, such as this post. i won't do that here, but you should know that your reply to my eating disorder post was disgusting. try being empathetic and you'll get empathy.
There's nothing better than putting time into yourself. Self-improvement and investment is never a waste of time, and is the best investment. If you don't take care of yourself, someone else will, and trust me...you won't like it! If one doesn't, that tells me they have no self-worth or self-esteem, and there are plenty of self-help videos out there. I've had the opportunity to reinvent and reinvest in myself over the years. It totally works!! Change your mind, and you'll definitely change your life. If there's anything I dont like or need in my life, I tweak it...I change it up, until I do! I'll never give up, and I'll never go down without a fight! I love that I have that option, and it's fun starting fresh again. Like the song goes...It's never too late to start all over again. I'm living proof, at 75 soon...in December. 😂 I'm loving life even more than when I was young. We're made with great resiliency and perseverance. "If it's gonna be, it's up to ME!" Putting time into yourself, MAKES who you are.

Live in love towards God and by faith you are never alone if you try to feel love for God and guess what? He has a church full of brothers and sisters! Don't let the devil steal this nugget of truth if you think it's worth giving a try don't let nothing stop you from reaching out to God!

@saintsong I had that thought fresh in my head just a few days ago and am considering moving towards this. Thanks for reminding me. Much easier said than done but I'll continue praying and meditating in my spare time.

@LifeOnHardMode Go for it! God bless you the sooner the better! You can give your heart to Jesus right now if you want? Just pray Dear God I am a sinner I have used weed to numb the pain of loneliness when true love for you is better than wine make me feel deeply in love again with you help me to overcome my shynessbto go to your church so that I might meet many wonderful brothers and sisters whom I can love and be loved with! I know that I don't have to be perfect just come as I am! Jesus has taken away my sins with his atoning death at the cross and by his grace given me His righteousness I have nothing to fear! I know Satan will try to stop me but if God is for me who could stand against me nobody for Satan is a defeated foe Amen!

Whatever you are currently doing obviously isn't working. Lose the weed would be the first step..?

@walabby The weed is fairly new actually. I have always had a hard time and continue to try when I feel like it now. From my past experiences and research it seems as though the entire situation is just bad for autistic people like me. I have been lonely for roughly 15 years to the supposed equivalent of "20 cigarettes per day." Not sure if 1 year of off and on weed is the issue. As I said its the person on the inside that matters in the grand scheme of things. You say "What I'm doing" isn't working but would you have said the same when bullying the weird kid in grade-school? People love to take ownership but we are fundamentally determined by talents and personality traits we have inherited. Sadly it seems like it will always be a straight line in the end from natural gifts to class and the success which comes with it.

@LifeOnHardMode I was the weird kid being bullied in grade school. I managed to grow out of it.
Concentrate on the things that you are good at. Ignore the rest.
Weed and booze won't help in the long run.
I know...

@walabby K I'll try and cut down in the long run then. I might have legit PTSD though for various reasons - doctor suspected it last year. Could be a mixed package imho.
