to medicate or not medicate... that is the question [I Battle Depression]

I stopped taking my anxiety/ anti- depressant medication recently for a few weeks and idk what to do. I feel like shit on my medication and I feel like shit off of it. I'm feeling really depressed and haven't been taking care of myself at all lately. I feel like everything is meaningless. Why go to work, why stay home, why breathe, why wake up in the morning... I then decided to take my medication again a few days ago and it's helped with the constant panic attacks, but I'm still depressed and still just can't see the point in getting out of bed... plus the medication I take makes me constantly tired... I got 12 hours of sleep last night and still was exhausted all day
Definitely go let the doctor know what is going on, so he can adjust the dosage. I feel for you. That's the problem with these depression medications. They make you feel tired, but I still think I'd rather be tired, than deal with the depression. Your body will adjust to that, as you take it each day, hopefully, but give it a chance and take it with food. I sure hope it helps. Hugs

Maybe see your doctor and try a different antidepressant.

Yes definitely visit the Dr's and let him/her know. They can adjust the dose for you, or even try something new. They may also be able to set you up with other help like online counselling. All the best to you, stick in there mate.
