My last childhood friend is going to be moving away across the country.

It's a bit painful. Sure they will keep in contact for awhile, but as these things go and have happened before they eventual fade into nothing more than memories. I'm tired of having those memories. I feel like the last record keeper left in a defunct archive.

@PDXNative1986 My family moved quite a bit up and and down the east coast when I was younger, but ended up back here. I guess I was lucky to keep the connections I had. To some degree I knew how you felt since I had no idea at those times that I would end up back where I started.
