Yes, if you pull the high pass filter then your exposures can be shorter. I used a Nikon 995 with various IR filters but I really wanted to see the effects on people images. The focus was so soft that I didn’t care for the result, even after Photoshop.

Sorry its actually the low-pass filter. I think high pass would be UV@Eyesropen

I love digital. But I also I really like being a part of the photo developing process. I control the contrast,composition,and basically everything else. It’s like manual photoshop 😆 @DallasCowboysFan

@OllyCat12 I’ve never used Ilford film, I don’t know why, I just haven’t.

I like it! But then again that’s all I’ve ever used. I don’t have anything to compare it to lol @SW-User

@OllyCat12 Most of the films I used were Kodak, I used to push TriX 400 to 1600 to get the grainy effect.

Now, I mainly use an iPhoneX or a Nikon D5500 DSLR.

I think your pics are really amazing! I bought most of my darkroom stuff from a girl on Craigslist for $125. Most of the stuff you need is fairly inexpensive. The most costly thing will be your enlarger. Just be checking eBay, etsy, etc for darkroom equipment. It’s so worth it! @BatRinseRepeat

@kodiac I hate to see places like that go unattended. So much character to them compared to much of what is built today. That could be a pretty cool place to live.
