Can a schizophrenic know he's schizophrenic? I've read that 9 times out of 10 someone who thinks they are going crazy usually isn't and that's a good indicator because they know somethings wrong

I deal with schizophrenia daily but what has worked for me is pretty much know that I'm crazy. I know my crazy so if I experience one of a already known thought or experience I say that's my crazy and then I'm not crazy to the point where I need hospitalized. All the times I have hospitalized I thought I was thinking clearly and wasn't crazy. You you are basically right.
