Is she truly ready for a proposal? Will I regret making such a step?

Her parents asking me why is it that I haven't proposed to their daughter and if I'm just wasting years of her life.

We've been together for 3yrs and it's been some good time we had but I can't help but think how many times she got angry and cut me off for the silliest reasons. This girl got pregnant and terminated it because she was trying to "get back at me" for going on that work trip with my female boss. I can't talk to a female or even laugh with a coworker of the opposite sex. I love her like crazy I really do but I don't want to get myself in a trap either.

Maybe take a short break from each other and see how you both feel in a month?

It sounds toxic.

No no noooooooo dude!! WTF though bruh! She terminated the effing pregnancy because of that? Man that's SOCIOPATHY at it's absolute best. You can't let her control you like that man, she needs to go work on her effing insecurities and stop projecting unto you. YOU SHOULD be able to have friends of the opposite gender without having to worry about her crazy ass. Man, you have to handle with care though because she could potentially be a first degree stalker refusing to let u go.

I only got 3 words for you man. GET OUT NOW!!!

@JustA yup! All of this.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
Then you aren't only wasting years of her life but also years of your own life. You should have dropped her like a hot potato when she terminated a pregnancy as payback. That is the biggest red flag.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Indifferent That is good then. I just think she has shown you that she is capable of manipulative behavior and these things take years of work to change and require the person to accept their own behavior before they can even attempt to change it.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@Indifferent I think your apprehension is your own body and mind telling you that it is not the right thing.
Indifferent · 36-40, M
@JaggedLittlePill sighhhhh yup yup. I can't continue like this

She killed your child "to get back at you" ! WTF! Why do you even need to ask this question? Obviously your gut is telling your mind not to pull the trigger. She is unstable and will likely be getting alimony soon if you marry. Run! Her parents know .
TexChik · F
@Indifferent Then you need to make a plan of escape. If you have shared bills that will be an issue. You might need to consult an attorney of your own. Because you cant run...they will find you. Or you can just start going out with friends and having dates and get her to leave you. Might work
Indifferent · 36-40, M
@TexChik that's what my friends keeps telling me. I'll have to schedule an appointment soon
Indifferent · 36-40, M
@TexChik she won't leave me, I'm worried she'd probably put that lady's life in jeopardy. I'm thinking of everything here
