I Am Lost, I Am Lost In My Mind, My Emotions, My Feelings

My emotions are flooding me right now. Mostly anxiety, guilt, and despair.

I wish so much that I didn’t have such deep, serious thoughts and emotions. I wish I was like the loud, silly, superficial people around me, who just enjoy life and don’t get beaten up by their thoughts and emotions.

I wish I could spend the day with you Kat. I know this is redundant and feel free to strangle me through the monitor, but...you are stronger than these emotions. As hard as it is, take a deep breath and change your location...if you are able, maybe find a park or somewhere you can be outside. Take off your shoes and dig your feet in the ground. Ground yourself in the things around you and open your heart to your senses. This helps me to distract the emotions and focus on the knowns. Sounds, smells, touch.
