I Am a Victim of Emotional Abuse

So many people believe that abuse in a marriage is one sided. Just like the cheater is responsible for the death of a marriage. It is far from the truth. Abuse doesn't know gender or race. I am a man and I have faced emotional abuse for the past 16 years until I finally took up the courage to leave.

Yeah it ranged anywhere from getting hit to nasty words being said to me. I had my things routinely broken because women typically don't get physical with men. They break their things and say disrespectful things to them. But yeah it was very abusive and unhealthy.
