I Hate Cults

I almost feel like anyone who falls for a cult just deserves what they get. Not talking about people who are there against their will, I'm referring to people who CHOOSE to join and follow these nutjob cult leaders. Come on, grow a brain. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I hate cults as well, yet if one is young enough they can fall into almost anything. It's only different though if someone should happen to fall into such a trap more than once. Then there is no excuse.

Never been in a cult, but id guess it would be the part where they usually prey on the weak and take their money and slowly infringe on their rights. Its probably a psychological form of brainwashing

That's exactly what it is. I fell prey to christianity when I was younger.

If you haven't been there, it difficult to know how it would affect you. You become convinced that what they do, no matter how "not nice", is for your benefit and the right thing to do. It took me a while to see though all the lies and deception because I was convinced I was misunderstanding it. If I only "accepted god/jesus/the spirit" into my heart, it would all be clear. Until then, I was being misled by Satan.
