I A Lesson Learned

I used to party a lot at the beach, used to but not anymore. It was always a favorite place to dine and drink, then sit on the beach and talk till daylight. One night I met a really cool guy at this bar. We were hitting it off so well, that I decided to stay when my friends left. Well, my handsome friend soon got too much to drink and I found myself alone in a bar full of strangers . I knew I shouldn't drive, but decided to anyway. As I left the parking lot, there was a cop - looking right at me. When I heard him start his car, I made a U turn and pulled in behind him. I unbuttoned a few more buttons, and walked to his window, explaining that I had felt fine when I left the bar. I bent down and asked as sweetly as I could if he would please take me home. I was fully prepared to do all those things you read about girls doing to avoid a big ticket, but it wasn't necessary. He agreed to take me home, and even refused coffee when I asked.
Well, the next morning I got up, totally forgetting the previous night, and noticed my car was missing. Holding tightly to my head so that it didn't fly off, I called the police to report it stolen. I know my face was red when I hung up. That was the last time for me. Now I get a bottle of wine for the beach and leave my car where it belongs.

Well, many of us have stories like this. The important thing is some of us have learned from our experiences. I'm pleased you learned, and you can still have fun! I'm still learning, but definitely know how to keep things fun.
