One thing many people get is that there was a referendum in the whole Spain about Catalonian independence, there would be a higher percentage for it than only in Catalonia. Many Spaniards are really fed up with the arrogance and victimism of Catalonian government, saying all the time that Spanish are oppressors, that we are lazy while they work hard, that they are so progressive and we are backwards. What we cannot accept is that they want to leave on their conditions, choosing when and how to do it, and not saying what they will happen to the huge debt that the Catalonian government has with the Spanish one.

@Cierzo they still have to pay the debt whether they are independent or not.

yes it happened in where i live too. if we get independence, all other cities could, and the situation would be too complicated and choatic to manage. it s not impossible but much more discussion and preparation for the post arrangement should be done, like the uk leaving EU.

just checked with wikipedia, catalonia has a very average rating for investment, and it s losing companies to other spanish provinces. maye it s just not bad for spain if catalonia leaves.

@Sssslm I would vote for them to leave, but on our conditions, not with them imposing their ways

@Cierzo Personally I don't care what happens in Spain. I do see the writing on the wall though and Spain is coming apart.

@SW-User That's it. Not only banks, more big firms are showing their intentions to do the same.
They should have thought about it.
