I Am Spanish

German, French and Dutch governments have shown their support to the Spanish government in their defense of the constitutional order.

Meanwhile, British government is silent, and opposition leader Corbyn looks outraged by police keeping law and order. Not to mention how most British media deal with the issue and the sympathy they show with Catalonian independence.

It looks like the UK wants to pubish the EU using Spain as the boxing bag.

I don't forget, many Spaniards don't either, and hope our government do not either. Sadly, the latter is hard to happen with our coward weak government.

Edit: British government has shown their support too. Thank you Mrs.May. FU Mr. Corbyn.

@SW-User I know. What infuriates me more is the hypocrisy of people and media who oppose Brexit, and then use Spain to attack the EU.

@Cierzo All this dirty politics make me puke, it's hard to find a real honest one in politics, nowadays.
Btw, I'm curious how the EU is gonna handle this situation, it looks like they don't know how to answer it without showing their real intentions.

@SW-User The best thing to do would be that other countries would see it as an internal affair, no need for support, just to remind what happens when an area of a EU member secedes.

@SW-User It was not smart, but people knew they were doing something illegal. And I wonder why those who criticise Spanish police never criticise Catalonian police,who are as or even more brutal. There are dozens of videos of their 'deeds' in google, beating people during sit-ins

@SW-User They are as corrupt and greedy as their Spanish counterparts. And cunning. Politicians now in the independence wagon were against it years ago. They just want more money and power
