How big is your circle of friends?

I have 5 close friends irl who i see has family..30years of friendship with all of them

Once upon a time, five.
Now, none.
Funny how stuff changes.

Smaller every year. I'm old now and my friends are all dying, men first of course. It's just not possible to replace long time friends, although magazine and Internet articles tell me all I need to do is join a bridge club or something like that. I'm slowly and painfully adjusting to loneliness. Like the misery of arthritis and incontinence, it seems to be a built in part of old age.

I have the same best friend since I was 19 or twenty maybe. I count he and I as our own circle because he's more like my family.

All of my friends have either died or moved at least a thousand miles away. I've tried hard to make some new friends but each attempt has proved disastrous. I am now resigned to loneliness. If anyone here lives in the Inland Empire part of southern California, and would like to meet me, please message me here and we'll connect. I am easygoing, tolerant and open minded but won't drive more than a half hour to meet anyone. The last time I agreed to meet someone on here, I drove for 3 hours and he never showed up.

A large circle of acquaintances, a small circle of those I truly call friend. And it is getting smaller all the time.

3 people that I have known for at least 2-3 years that are always consistent and no crazy shit to speak of.

I have a small circle of close friends irl who are as bad as I am at general friendship maintenance but when we do talk it’s like no time has passed. In terms of talking regularly I have a couple of online friends who I talk to every day and a work BFF who I talk to most days.

I think I am down to Zero now.
I am my only friend.

Small... I get on well with everybody so don't feel I am lacking in that area, my relationship with family and colleagues is friendly enough to fill that gap and at home my relationship is enough for me. I don't have the kind of 'meet up and go out' friends, but I'm not a 'meet up and go out' person!

not large--as a workaholic, most of my "friends" are colleagues with a smattering of very old friends I seldom see but for social media and Christmas cards.

I've found my best companions in small circles.
Our years in friendship run into the double digits.

Nonexistent since I moved up here in 2000. My own doing I think, and it’s ok.

Ugh woefully small, or, at least, that's how it seems.

Maybe like two? And even then, I don’t really talk with them.
