I Can Sometimes Be A Brat

Of either of my parents I respected mostly the rules of my Mother. Being I didn't want to disappoint either. And my own children I feel, have disciplined their own and their actions have served them well. Still the choice we give to our youth, weighs heavily on US. Present your views in ways they will bring to their own children. Treat them always with LOVE. Teach them to pass on being a good if not better citizen. Bring to them, that actions can often fail, and fall into wrong and inappropriate words as well as memories.
Gift to your own, that you discipline with love. Hair brush is WRONG.
What I discovered the Better art of discipline is to do so in front of the other children they associate with. These children went back and reported my actions to their parents. Thus discovering my reasons for HANDS on public spanking. The neighbors thanked me. Know that often we may discipline in the wrong. Take your time. Explain to them the reasons why.

Looking the other way when your mom is preaching has never been a good idea. In our home, that was a sure way to get your bottom spanked!

And so you KNOW that it is not worth spanking a child with anything other than your hand.
My Mom would break off a switch from a tree and snap it against the back of my legs. Yes I heard her calling me. I was just too busy having fun!

In a world that exists these days there is too much pain; too much heartache. I want my adult children and grand children to know my love.
