Looking the other way when your mom is preaching has never been a good idea. In our home, that was a sure way to get your bottom spanked!

@Germanmom Showing courteous respect to a family member is a basic condition of living together happily and effectively. Disregarding an unwanted comment might be a natural response but after a suitable warning and perhaps a second warning, it could evolve into a spankable offense!
