Working on a 1946 GMC, can't find a particular bolt...

I have to destroy the original bolt in order to finish the job, and I can't find a replacement.馃が馃が馃が Searching for two days, with a partially disassembled truck in my driveway. Unfortunately, I can't just grab one from the hardware store.

Been there, local machine shop will make you one for about about $10.00
@MarineBob yeah, I think it might be time, and a fair excuse, to hang out at a friend's garage while he makes a new one.馃槅

Could a machinist make one?
@Mamapolo2016 Yes, but I was hoping to avoid the hassle.

It must be some fancy bolt!??
@walabby Has a very specific shank length, and takes a castle nut and cotter pin. Not fancy, just meant for a certain mounting purpose.

@UnderLockDown Fair enough... You don't have the equipment to make one yourself?
