I Had a Heart Attack

I would like to apologize to all my friends here. I have been absent from here since before Christmas and there is a reason for that

I have had another heart attack and just came out of the hospital tonight. I am so sorry that I have been so exhausted that it was difficult to just keep up with daily things.

I think about all of you a lot and hopefully I will get my strength back real soon.

This was quite a while ago and read your most recent responses. I haven't talked with you, but I am glad that you are recovering. There are few things more terrifying and fatiguing then serious heart issues. I hope and pray your recovery continues to go well.

Keep strong and active ... when my Dad came home after his heart attack he told my Mum 50% of people who have heart attacks only have one. She said that was good and I said that is because the 1st one kills them so Dad you are lucky. He lived another 30 years.

Nothing to apologize for, my friend. You've been through a lot and your absence from here is completely understandable. What's most important is focusing on getting better and taking care of yourself.

At first I had achy shoulders and jaw pain and s little nausea. When the pain was too much to stand I had pain that felt like it was shooting out my fingers.

Holy crap Lela! Take care and a speedy recovery. How old are you? I equate heart attacks to someone who is middle age or older.

@Mondayschild I'm so glad to hear that. I do not believe we have talked on here, but when I noticed that this post had been dated Feb 8 (my birthday!) and had not been updated recently, I wondered whether there was cause for worry.

@DrWatson it kind of runs in my family. My parents both died of massive heart attack. I feel lucky to have found my problems early🙂

@Mondayschild I am. there are heart attacks on one side of my family, but I am on blood pressure and cholesterol meds, and my EKG's have been perfect.

@SW-User hi, I was just writing you a note. I ok and if I can keep getting stronger I see no problems. I have a great doctor. I think I might have rushed myself to recovery but this time I am going to take things very slow and build myself back up again over time. I will be here, not as much but still I hate to miss my friends here. Take care😘
