I Believe Everyone Is Entitled to Their Opinion

Unpopular opinion: Hitler was a shitty person, but he was a great leader.
You can say what you want about him being a shitty person, but he still got so many people to follow him and most of the good things he did for Germany are still effective today. Shitty people can be great leaders. Great people can be shitty leaders. It happens.

I think of some of the kids I grew up with who had no living generation before their parents because of the Holocaust. They could "thank Hitler" for THAT, too. The fact that people followed him are a reflection on how hateful people can be, not HIS "greatness". We're seeing that same stupidity and hatefulness with the people following Trump now.
