CHICKEN BUTT
This amusing anecdote is attributed to Moe Howard, "Moe" of The Three Stooges.
Back in the 1930's Moe was having dinner at a restaurant with his friend Jack Walsh, a fellow actor who was doing a show with Moe. For his dinner Jack had ordered a roast chicken. When the waitress brought his order Jack put his face down and sniffed the chicken, then made a face.
The waitress asked, "Is there something wrong with your chicken, sir?"
"Well," said Jack, "I'll tell ya. This reminds me of the time I was helping my grandmother onto a street car. I was pushing her up the steps from behind, when suddenly the streetcar lurched forward. Grandma lost her balance and fell backward--and her rear end landed right on my face!
"And you know something?" Jack concluded. "I never smelled anything that bad again--until I smelled this chicken!"
The waitress brought Jack a new order.
