I Had Or Have To Wear A School Uniform

I don't really get why everyone hates having to wear a uniform to school. Its practical, smart and means you don't have to decided what to wear every day.
It also means that we're all wearing the same so there no pressure on parents to buy really expensive fashion items

i would have hated wearing school uniform. I liked wearing skin tight tank top and tight short shorts to school. showed my muscular build very nicely. 馃挭

@trackboy That's against the dress code.
suzie196061-69, F
@MarkPaul Which dress code?
MarkPaul26-30, M
@suzie1960 School dress code... anywhere.
suzie196061-69, F
@MarkPaul Wrong, there are a lot of schools that would allow trackboy's style of attire. Not all schools in the world are run by narrow minded petty dictators.
MarkPaul26-30, M
@suzie1960 No school allows "short shorts and skin tight tank tops" with the intention to "show off muscular build." You know that, I know that, and the world knows that.
suzie196061-69, F
@MarkPaul Wrong again. That might be true where you are but it's certainly not true everywhere in the world.
MarkPaul26-30, M
@suzie1960 You apparently are defensive about not knowing what you are talking about. Every school has some sort of dress code. And, to suggest they don't only suggests you are holding on to some kind of fantasy.

@trackboy OK --ALRIGHT -- I see where the poster is going so I must say PERV ALERT
suzie196061-69, F
@MarkPaul Not every school has a dress code. Even those with one don't necessarily prohibit trackboy's mode of dress. I've visited a school not far from where I live that has no dress code whatsoever so I do know what I'm talking about - you obviously don't. You're extrapolating from a very small subset of schools, probably in your immediate vicinity. The US isn't the whole world.
MarkPaul26-30, M
@suzie1960 I am speaking about the world. You know what that means, right? And, the idea of wearing "short-shorts" and skin tight tank tops is not supported by any accredited school. What exactly point are you trying to make anyway?
suzie196061-69, F
@MarkPaul You are obviously NOT talking about the world. That's abundantly clear because you don't know the policies of EVERY school in the world. Even using the term "accredited school" displays an ignorance of the educational system in my country. I know and have visited a school that allows such a mode of attire so I know you're wrong. That is my point. You're making a wild claim that can easily be refuted by just one example, one I've just given.

@suzie1960 @MarkPaul A school close to where I used to live in Leiston UK didn't have a dress code at all.
MarkPaul26-30, M
@suzie1960 Every school has some form or manner of accreditation. Have you ever been to a school? Why are you so insistent on promoting your version of the truth anyway? Whether formal or informal, every school follow some norms or code about what is culturally acceptable dress. What is your problem?
suzie196061-69, F
@MarkPaul That may be true in your jurisdiction but that's not the same as the whole world and it's certainly not true where I am. As I said, I have visited a school where trackboy's mode of attire would be acceptable.

Why are you so insistent that you know the policies of every school in the world when it's patently obvious you don't? What do you hope to achieve?

@rob19 Would that be Summerhill School? http://www.summerhillschool.co.uk/
