I Don't Fear Death
Those who dont fear death. How are you able to be this way? I think death is my overall biggests fears. and yet it's something we can never escape in the end :/

in a way, you answered your own question. Death is inevitable, so why worry about something you can't prevent? You can prolong life, or at least do your best to try. Other than that, it's out of our hands, and so change the things you can, and the things you can't, don't worry about. If you spend your life thinking and worrying about death, you're not giving yourself a chance to really enjoy living.

@mrmoose: I also have come close to it but it hasnt made me less scared. Yeah dying alone is a sad thing to think about

The most sure way to stop fearing death, which has been demonstrated over and over and over in various studies and surveys, is to personally have a very close brush with death.
People who are close enough to death that they call a "code blue" on them, that they stop brain waves or such - stopping heart or breathing will not do it unless it's for a few minutes - [b]never [/b]fear death again.

@OWTFWN: I have been there in the past. I seem to have gone the opisite way now. I went through a stage where I felt I didnt want to be here anymore but had a lot of health scares and a time where I nearly damaged myself from a self medicaton gone wrong. At this time I generally thought I was going to die and it made me then realize I was too scared to die no matter how low I get so then I achually became very scared of dying. Had a health scare where it was looking life threatning and that also made me realize how terrifed i would be if it was to happen

I have no fear of death. Now at least I don't. I used to until my heart stop beating.
