What’s with this “reverse racism” BS?

I always see people use it when someone’s calling them out for being racist against white people. “Reverse racism” isn’t even a thing! White people are human too and can experience racism like anyone else. If you disagree, then you’re a racist and like all racists, you’re only denying it to avoid acknowledging you’re a garbage human being. If you speak out against white people who are racist against people of color and then defend people of color being racist against white people with that “reverse racism” crap, you’re just being hypocritical. Anyone and everyone can experience racism and all racism is bad. Or none of it is! Pick one.

Discrimination as a whole is a problem. Not just race. Age discrimination, sexual orientation, poverty discrimination as well as religious discrimination.

And all those apply to every race. If you take issue with one, you must take issue with all of it! Otherwise you have no argument at all.
@DeWayfarer I do think all forms of discrimination are bad. But you’ll forgive me if I don’t mention that when I’m addressing one form discrimination. It doesn’t mean I don’t think all discrimination is bad…

@PerchingDove of those that I listed all are bad! And all those listed are serious problems.
@DeWayfarer Okay?

My mom is white. My Dad is Aboriginal. We moved to a town on the Southern Coast of Australia when I was 6. Just a few months after a 10 year old boy had been raped by a group of Dark skinned tourists, then every white man with a gun came to town and started shooting anybody of darker skin tone to them.
So the town was racially charged when my family got there. We had a lot of visitors come round when Dad was living with us but when he left 6 years later not a sign of these family friends did we see.
Amidst this back drop and a lot more I wont add I learnt that people are basically A$$holes. Though many of them cloak it under the veil of racism because they don't know any better and don't want to either.

I think we would all get along better if we'd agree on the fundamental belief that everyone is a piece of shit.
@G00GLE Fair enough, I guess.

@PerchingDove Honestly I'm just high. No fucking idea what I'm talking about.
@G00GLE and never talk to the police.

Watching a lawyer talk to graduating law students about how reality can get really twisted in the real world.

Hard to believe but...
I don’t know, baby. I’ve been fighting this fight for as long as I’ve been alive. I used to think we could do better... be better, but lately I’ve begun to wonder. Maybe I’m just tired but it can be real depressing. 🖤🤗
Heres one...a while ago some people were giving examples of bigoted remarks

and one such example was "southern redneck racists" and I called her on that and she never understood and ghosted me, never saw her again.

But just cause a person is from the south and might work in the sun (or did something to get his body sunburned or chafed), there might not be a connection to his attitude toward people of another color.

and I still stand by this. Very theoretical I know...but still...

Yeah I honestly do not think that way. Anyone can be racist. We can be anything we wanna be, don’t limit us
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
@PerchingDove you should be proud of me
@TurtlePink Don’t talk to me. You disgust me.
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
@PerchingDove too bad,
Agreed, in terms of the definition of racism. Reverse racism does not exist and anyone can be a target of racism. But one other term that’s often discussed is “institutional racism” which is specific in many countries (especially in the West) to people of color. Even in places like South Africa, with a majority population of color the history of Apartheid discriminated against them to the benefit of whites.

All colors are put through the wringer on the race subject. It sucks. Feels like punishment.
