I took a weekend trip with my Girlfriend, she wore wedding bands. We went went away a second weekend, she did the same.

@Jammy I’ve been there, involving the kids right away makes it feel comfy without having built a foundation of trust. Sort of a false sense of family..

@Quetzalcoatlus I completely agree. It is very fast and the foundation is yet not built. We see the end game, we want to be together but we need to build that foundation.

@Jammy with no kids, if it doesn’t work out, no harm no foul. With the kids they get to go through a break up/divorce all over again..

@Quetzalcoatlus I completely agree. Her daughter works in a grocery store after school. I stopped by to get things. She introduced me as her step dad to a colleague. I felt honoured but also a bit scared.
