I left two months ago with a mess of a life. I had just left France to move to the US. I was cutting myself and worse. But in the two months I have been gone I have had extensive therapy, quit cutting myself and turned my life around. I'm working and going to college in the fall. I look and feel much better.
*raises my hand slowly* can I be one of the first to say that I feelthat you've recovered amazingly and that you've done something I don't think I'd ever do in my life.. you reached out to people and got help and got off of hurting yourself, that in and of itself is beyond amazing to me and I hope you don't have to go back to self harm as a way to feel better
@Yancey: everyone is always a work in progress, there's no finishing something you set out to do, there will be obstacles but you will be able to over come each one, allowing yourself to open up to new experiences and learning from mistakes made in the past. You made a few steps to correct yourself but your journey isn't over, you have to keep improving yourself and prevent yourself from slipping
I'm glad you was able to turn your life around. Congrats on that and keep at it, remember you only lose when you choose to give up. So never give up. Ever.
@Yancey: Nope not at all. And your right its always too early to do a victory lap in my opinion lol. Good luck in America, was it hard moving like that? I've known several French people move over, although to the UK than the USA. I've been helping introduce one around and help teach her English in fact.
@Yancey: when you are nice with yourself people do respect that and they do the same so keep up the spirit to be honest and respectful towards yourself .keep smiling :-)
