I fear old age, not death. I guess most people don't want a painful death that's why they fear it.

om2014 it is your body that dies yes i do not care what anyone says nobody deep down fears death it is one of those things that sits in the back of you mind it is your human function that dies whether your spirit and soul does too i would not like to say

@assemblingaknob If its just about the physical i agree, no one wud like to experience pain. But it doesnt last that long always, through illnesses/accidents we go thru much more pain sometimes. But we are afraid in more than one ways of death ? are we not?

I fear the death of others. In a way, that is what affects me most. I assume once it’s my turn I’ll just be gone and beyond caring.

@bijouxbroussard I can relate to that! I sit there long and hard thinking of others that I was close to, wondering where they are and worrying for them.

I think very little of myself the older I get.

@bijouxbroussard If lets say im aware that i get to be with them again, instead of thinking that they are lost forever, i think latter will feel much more better.
