I Have Type 2 Diabetes

In October last year I was diagnosed. My best friend thinks she is helping but I am sick and tired of them telling me I can't have this and I can't have that it is just the high blood sugar part that I have not the rest of it. I try so hard but sometimes I just wonder why I bother

This infliction runs in my family.
1. I have so far warded this of.
With Low GI foods. Read up on them, they help balance your blood sugar.
Do you know that your body is rotting, that is, the high sugar, rots your organs, shows up as not healing a wound, you don't heal normally.

2. Inter-mitting fasting is great way to keep your blood sugar levels low. You can begin by eating twice a day, then to once a day.
3. Also exercise will help move the blood sugar, from the blood stream into your muscles.

Exercise
Fasting

Do you consume junk food, processed food, sugar drinks, if so, your lifestyle has got you this way. The good news is that you can reverse this condition with out taking drugs.

You are in command to get healthy, it's up to you implement lifestyle changes or not.

Your family can all get healthy together. .

Some people are ignorant about diabetes. My mother has a friend with diabetes, she can't even remember what kind her friend has, and complains when she sees her eating sweet foods like chocolate or cake. I told my mother that it's different for everyone and that she shouldn't tell her friend what to do, especially since she doesn't know the full story. Only do what your doctor tells you.
@PrettyLesley My doctor has told me nothing except that I have it so I am kind of in the dark

@Wediegiver Perhaps you should see another doctor who can help you with a treatment plan.
@PrettyLesley Everyone is asking about my dietitian but I have not seen one or had one offered to me yet I am not sure if that means anything

Yea. You could die if you don't eat properly just because you have one type of diabetes and not the other does not make it less important. Your friends and family are trying to help. You have to adhere to doctors orders. Don't be a curmudgeon!
