I Will Take As Many Words As I Want To Write This Story

Moonlight Mile------

I once had a friend on EP that adored 'Moonlight mile By The Rolling Stones. I never really understood that except that she was big Stones fan like I am. And while I like a lot of their music this song only crossed my mind at times. Until her. For a while this song defined her.

Bu that was EP. Times change as do people and life goes on. She is not the girl I once knew there. Be that as it may this is a great song. It is one of the best in transition period of the Stones. That is, when they were morphing from a 60's band into a 70's band. In a way this was a more grown Stones. Reflective, as 'Wild Horses" is.

I post this not for her but yet- in a way I do--as I post this for all who love great classic music and for all that love the Stones. And for those who wish to reconnect with it. Much as I did years back. It is almost perfect.

Enjoy--

I love you Elandra77, I thought I was the biggest fan of The Stones. You probably watch and listen to them on youtube as much as I do. You are so right about that song. Thanks for sharing,
@Waymor I have all of their Lp's and 45's. I saw them in concert once , in old Cleveland Stadium in 1978 on the "Some Girls" tour. 86,000 people plus. I could never understand Bill Wyman leaving the group.
