I Will Take As Many Words As I Want To Write This Story
I love you from afar
From my first EP account. Ok- first serious one. It's a love poem that could be to anyone. And, indeed, it may BE to someone. Someone that shall remain nameless. As that is how hopeless romantics oft are.
Be that as it may, enjoy my declaration of love-and the acceptance of it, as it was then.
I love you from afar. ‘Cause I cannot love you near. I hold your words so dearly; Like I would hold you dear.
I cherish every moment; As our time here is not long. Your soul has mine singing. Sweetly, as a song.
I wish for Summer Days. Days that would not end. I wish for days upon the shore; Walking with you my sweet friend.
I long to hold you dearly. And breathe in all of you. Holding you at day’s end. As caressing starts one anew.
I’d love to hear you say That you “love me too” But My dear You cannot love me.
Anymore than- I Love You.

@sweetpea: True-and the site is becoming more receptive to "EP style" writings. That is, serious writings of the heart, mind and soul. But it is still a community of pranksters. Formost it is a social site and NOT a support site, as EP was. Shame, as it had EP to pattern itself after. EP had nothing and had to invent that style site.
I had a dear fiend leave here as she was sick of the crap being posted on posts she made. Adolescent jibber jabber and few taking what she said seriously.
Well ya know, in the end EP had nothing but pranksters and mean people too. The earlier days on EP was better. I too have had some rude comments on my posts. I just ignore like I did on EP before I left. I went to RelateToThat a year before EP closed. I was a volunteer there and EP would do nothing when they'd ask us to turn B.S. in?! I'm sorry about your friend leaving, she'd maybe like it on RTT. I personally never got much support on EP and I was there 5 years?!
@sweetpea: I was there close 6 years. And yes, the old days were better. It went to hell near the end on 2012. The last year of EP had the same 1500 people posting again and again. DianafromEP, Hitler, Ammonia scrubber, Ciara and more.
i had close friends among the staff at EP-all I needed to do was report a post, or person, and they(or the post) was gone. I was one of a few that had their ears.
She hated RTT!! Forget that. Could not stand the oppression.
@Elandra77: Well I was a big supporter of EP and they didn't do jack sh!t for me?! But I did get a t-shirt from them FREE! It was so WEIRD, it didn't come and I PM'd EP Arnish to ask her where it was? She made sure she had my address and it showed up....about a month later so did my check?! I laughed my ass off about that and later posted it, she popped on and said, "well at least we could gift you with a t-shirt!" HA, she had never talked much at all to me before I posted that. I don't like how they played "favorites." But such is human nature I suppose.
I never got anything-no T shirt or skirt or whatever. Arsiheh and I had a parting of ways after a while. She was Armen's right hand person. But she was just a mouthpiece for him. But they sis not do anything for me either-and I was a volunteer under the original program.
But I did learn to get to know a few -outside-- of their admin roles. That is, as real people with real everyday lives. Kimi and I were both makeup mavens. We had some great ideas back in the day.
One was to start a beauty and makeup channel on EP , with makeup guru vids much like YT has. But the logistics of it we never got around to.
Another was a series of "roundtables" A group of 3-40 people gashing out an idea EP had for development. All would be given an equal voice. ONLY those serious in making a difference would get invites. But they would have to show interest first. Time zones and all using the same software prevented that.
But Google can do it , with Google groups. Gotomeeting was suggested a method to do this.
@Elandra77: Wow, that sounds interesting! I know a guy there that tried to do something similar, it just never took off either. Haha, that t-shirt is a collectors item now. They weren't good business people so I guess that's why they stopped selling them?
